As a realtor it's great seeing the market making a turn for the better. As a homeowner living in Smithtown, there are some mix reviews for seeing homes in my area on the market. Its upsetting seeing people leave this beautiful town and I can only hope that they are staying within the Smithtown area, or moving to a nearby town.
However it is very exciting welcoming in new neighbors and homeowners. Showing them this great town. A town filled with great stores, restaurants, parks, schools and its convenient location to everything.
I made the move to Smithtown in 2010 and fell in love. This town has so much to offer people. My favorites include Stop n Shop, Trader Joes and Uncle G's for groceries. Moes, Old Street Pub and Ancient Ginger are some great eats, yes I know there are plenty more. Summer concerts, the library, Starbucks, gyms I can go on and on. The area from top to bottom is really something special, and a great place to live and raise a family.
You really cannot go wrong living in the Smithtown area.
