Smithtown HS East's Habitat Club Helps Build In Bay Shore

SMITHTOWN, NY — The Habitat for Humanity Club of Smithtown High School East volunteered on a student build in Bay Shore on Nov. 22. Its members actively participate in many fundraising projects/events throughout the year. The proceeds are donated to the Habitat for Humanity Chapter of Suffolk.
On this build, members were involved with cement work and insulating the crawl space of the future home. In the past, they have participated with landscaping, painting, tile and woodwork, sheetrock, siding and more. The next build is scheduled for May 22.
