Suffolk County Police to Host Property Auction This Week

Items such as a motorboat, jewelry, air conditioners, televisions and more will be up for auction at the event.

Suffolk County Police will be auctioning off several items at a property auction this week.

The event will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 5 starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Property Section Building next to Police Headquarters on 30 Yaphank Avenue in Yaphank.

Attendees can bid on an 1989 26-foot Sea Ray motorboat, hand and power tools, automotive items, iPods, household items, air conditioners, electronics, televisions, clothing, bicycles, jewelry and watches.

A preview for jewelry and other select items will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Vehicles and motorcycles will not sold at this auction.

The event will be held rain or shine and all items will be sold in “as is” condition. All purchases are subject to New York State sales tax and payments must be made in cash.
