This Election Day, Smithtown residents got the chance to vote for several positions within the Town, including Town Supervisor.

Town Supervisor:

92/92 districts reporting:

• William G. Holst (D) - 10,047
• Edward R. Wehrheim (R) - 16,268 - Winner
• Kristen Slevin (None of the Above) - 2,250

Current Town Supervisor, Patrick Vecchio who has served in the position for 40 years, lost the primary election to Wehrheim in September.

• Justin W. Smiloff (D) - 9,933
• Vincent A. Puleo (R) - 16,125 - Winner
• Conrad A Chayes Sr. (I) - 1,643

Superintendent of Highways:

92/92 districts reporting:

• Robert J. Murphy (R) - 23,024 - Winner

Town council - 2 open seats:
