Video Collaboration Selected For Exhibition
The exhibition runs from May 25 to Sept. 2 at the Franklin D. Roosevelt House in New York City.

From Smithtown Schools: Smithtown High School East art teacher Tim Needles, along with six teachers from throughout the Smithtown Central School District, had their video art piece selected for inclusion in the Reimagining the Four Freedoms Exhibition. The exhibition runs from May 25 to Sept. 2 at the Franklin D. Roosevelt House in New York City.
The exhibition is a modern interpretation of Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms speech and it will be on tour for two years traveling to museums across America and France. Approximately 1,000 submissions were received and reviewed and only 37 works by 36 artists were selected. Smithtown Central School District teachers involved in the project include: Tim Needles (art teacher, Smithtown High School East), Kimberly Williams (science
teacher, Smithtown High School West), Steve Halem (art teacher, Smithtown High School West), Chauncey Cone (social studies teacher, Smithtown High School West), James Kelly (English teacher, Smithtown High School East), Christina Cone (social studies teacher, Smithtown High School West), and Rich Hurley (special education teacher, Smithtown High School East).
