Woman Charged With Prostitution At Local Massage Parlor: Police
During the investigation, the massage parlor was also issued summonses for 11 town and state code violations, police say.
SAINT JAMES, NY - A Saint James woman was arrested for prostitution during a massage parlor raid in Saint James on Thursday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.
In response to numerous community complaints, officials conducted an investigation into illegal activities at 266 Angel Spa & Bodywork, Inc. on 266 Lake Avenue at 4 p.m., police said.
As a result, 49-year-old Wenya Ling, of was arrested and charged with prostitution and unauthorized practice of a profession, police said.

She was held at the precinct and will be arraigned on Friday.
In addition, during the investigation the Town of Smithtown fire marshal and building inspector discovered 11 town and state code violations issued summonses for each, police said.
