NEW YORK CITY — Sandwell, a sandwich shop focused on fresh, made-to-order meals, has opened its third Manhattan location at 157 Prince Street in SoHo.

The new 800-square-foot shop has 12 seats and joins Sandwell’s existing locations on the Upper West Side, which opened in October 2023, and in Gramercy, which opened in June 2025.

Sandwiches are made to order and toasted before serving, with bread baked in-house and fillings and sauces made from scratch.

Popular options include Chicken Pesto Burrato, Turkey Meatball, the “Toasted Rivalry” Tuna Melt, Green Goddess Chicken Caesar, Eggplant Parm and Spicy Chicken Banh Mi. The menu also includes salads, mac and cheese, housemade beverages and cookies.

"I spent years searching for the perfect sandwich: toasted, flavorful, made from real ingredients - basically, something that you could feel good about eating. I couldn’t find it, so I created it," Founder Andy Gottlieb said.
