15 Businesses Get High Marks For Refusing To Sell Alcohol To Minors: Cops

All 15 establishments included in the underage drinking sweep passed with flying colors, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — In a positive twist New York State Police Barracks in Riverside conducted an underage drinker enforcement operation in Southampton and Riverhead Sunday — and all businesses passed the test, police said.

During the operation, 15 retail establishments were checked and refused to sell alcoholic beverages to an undercover state police operative under the age of 21, police said. The establishments checked were:

1.) Herbert & Rist on Jobs Lane in Southampton.

3.) Zabi Spirits on CR-39 in Southampton.

5.) Bottle Hampton on CR-39 in Southampton.

6.) Cumberland Farms on CR-39 in Southampton.

7.) Cork & Jug Wine & Liquor on W. Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.

8.) Canoe Place Fuel Mart on E. Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.

9.) Shell Mart on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.

10.) Hampton Bays Liquors on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.

11.) Hampton Bays Wines & Spirits on E. Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.

12.) 7-Eleven on W. Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.
