3 Charged With Assaulting Man In Southampton: Police

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Three individuals were arrested after they allegedly assaulted a man in Southampton, police said.

According to New York State Police, the incident took place on Saturday, when Vanessa E. Jones, 29, Destiny Spears, 27, and Strong H. Warrior, 23, all of Southampton, were arrested and charged with third degree assault, a misdemeanor, after an altercation where they assaulted a single male victim.

Both Jones and Spears were issued appearance tickets and are due back in Southampton Justice Court on May 3; Warrior was held for arraignment at Southampton Police headquarters due to his current probation status, police said.
