• Suffolk's Supervisors Convene in Hauppauge in 250th Tree Planting (messengerpapers.com) — Southampton residents were represented in Hauppauge as Town Supervisor Maria Moore joined all nine other Suffolk supervisors to plant commemorative trees ahead of the nation’s 250th birthday. Soil from each town, including Southampton, was added around cherry trees at Freedom Plaza, symbolizing county unity and long-term commitment to Suffolk’s future.
