Applications Accepted For New Civilian Police Academy
If you've ever wanted to go behind the scenes and find out what the life of a police officer is like, here's the chance.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — If you've ever wanted to be a police officer, or to go behind the scenes to see what life is like for the men and women that keep Southampton Town residents safe, here's your chance.
The Southampton Town Police Department is holding its 2019 Civilian Academy, beginning Jan. 23, 2019. The Academy will run for 14 weeks, one night a week, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Seats are limited to Southampton Town residents first; however, consideration for non-town residents will be made pending availability of seating.
To apply, contact Lt. Susan Ralph via email at Sralph@southamptontownny.gov. A short application will be emailed or mailed upon request. Completed applications will be accepted up until Dec. 21, 2018.
