AT&T is seeking the Southampton Town Planning Board's approval for a 120-foot monopole on Foster Avenue in Bridgehampton near the train tracks, according to .
The Express reports that AT&T has been searching for a site since 2008 for a new cell tower to close a service gap. The proposed monopole — which gets its name because all antennae are within its interior — would have the capacity for other cellular service providers to share the pole, the report states.
