Bay Street Theater to Host Showing of Legends of Comedy Film
The showing will take place on Saturday, March 14.

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is announced they will be showing the Legends of Comedy Film on Saturday March 14 at 8 p.m.
The showing will take place at the Bay Street Theater locatred on 1 Bay Street in Sag Harbor.
Archivist Joe Lauro will host the film which covers 100 years of some of the greatest moments in comedy from the days of Music Hall and Vaudeville to the “little screen” of the 1950s through 1970s.

The film will be showcasing some of the best comedians from the Bowery to the Borscht belt.
Guests can see rare clips of forgotten legends such as Totie Fields, Myron Cohen, Smith and Dale, Henny Youngman and Pat Cooper to early performances by Joan Rivers, Jackie Mason, George Carlin, Rodney Dangerfield, Carol Burnett, Phyliss Diller, Senor Wences and more.

The film will also include a few highlights from the big screen featuring The Marx Brothers, Abbott and Costello, and W.C. Fields and more.
