Bridgehampton Man Caught Driving On Drugs: Police
He had a white powdery substance around his nose and mouth, police say.

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — A Bridgehampton man was arrested after he was found to be driving under the influence of drugs, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Randall Culpepper, 62, was arrested on Oct. 9 at 3:31 a.m. after he was found driving a 2013 Audi north on Stephen Hands Path and failing to keep right, failing to maintain lane of travel and crossing hazardous markings, police said.
He was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, first offense, a misdemeanor, police said.

Upon investigation, Culpepper had bloodshot eyes and was unsteady on his feet; he had poor coordination, displayed an inability to focus, and showed signs of a dry mouth, police said.

He performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests, police said.
He was also administered advanced roadside impaired driving enforcement tests in which indications of impairment were present, police said.
He was released on his own recognizance, police said.
