Broken Headlight Leads To DWI Charge: Cops
His blood alcohol content was .17%, police say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Riverhead man was caught driving drunk, police said.
According to New York State Police, Grzegorz J. Karwowski, 41 was arrested on Sept. 7 and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop for traveling with an inoperable headlight on New York State Route 24.
Karwowski was transported to New York State Police barracks Riverside where he provided a breath sample of .17% BAC., police said.

Karwowski is due back at Southampton Town Justice Court on Sept. 18, police said.
