A Visit with Chris Pavone, author of The Doorman

Chris Pavone is the author of the 2026 Long Island Reads selection, The Doorman, which was one of the New York Times' notable books of the year. His novels have appeared on all the major bestseller lists and have been translated into two dozen languages, and include The Expats, winner of both the Edgar and Anthony awards, and the instant bestseller Two Nights in Lisbon. Chris grew up in Brooklyn, graduated from Cornell, and was a book editor for nearly two decades. He lives in New York City and in Orient.
