Catch the Final Presidential Debate at Bay Street

The public is invited to Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor for a free live screening of the third and final presidential debate.

President Barack Obama and challenger Mitt Romney will meet for their third and final debate Monday, and Bay Street Theatre will once again open its doors to the public for a big screen experience.

The Sag Harbor venue will open at 8 p.m. Monday so South Fork residents can shuffle in early and grab a seat — for free. The 90-minute debate starts at 9 p.m.

“This is another opportunity for Bay Street to give back to the community by opening its doors for free,” said Executive Director Tracy Mitchell. “We welcome all to join us — no matter what your political inclination. Bay Street is a great place to enjoy gathering with your friends and neighbors for events that affect all of our lives.”

Bay Street Theatre will do the same on the night of the election, Nov. 6, to watch the results pour in. Both events are free, but the theater notes that donations are welcome.

The debate, happening at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla., will focus on foreign policy.
