Cathy Hatgistavrou Is Lone Candidate in Sagaponack School Election

Election and budget vote are May 21.

The Sagaponack School Board race is uncontested, after only the incumbent stepped forward to run.

Cathy Hatgistavrou is seeking her first full three-year term. She was first elected during a special election in 2011 to fulfill the unexpired term of Charles Barbour, who stepped down when he moved out of the district, according to an East Hampton Star report at the time.

Hatgistavrou sits on the three-member board with Joe Louchheim and
Fred Wilford.

The election and the vote on the district's 2013-14 budget will be held on May 21.
