Crash Involving Dump Truck In Hamptons: Cops
The crash led to traffic delays and diversions during the Tuesday rush hour, witnesses say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A crash on County Road 39 involving a dump truck led to traffic snarls during the Tuesday afternoon commute in Southampton, police said.
According to Southampton Police Sgt. Michael Joyce, the crash took place near Shrubland Road at around 3:30 p.m. It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured, he said.
Traffic was initially diverted after the crash but had resumed to normal patterns by 6 p.m., Joyce said.
