Crash Slows Traffic On County Road 39 Friday: Fire Officials
The crash took place in the eastbound lane near Greenfield Road, officials say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A crash on County Road 39 in Southampton Friday afternoon slowed traffic, officials said.
According to Chris Brenner, public information officer for the Southampton Fire Department, the crash took place about 3 p.m. in the eastbound lane at Greenfield Road; two cars were in the roadway, he said.
Traffic was moving very slowly in the area, he said.

The Southampton Fire Department was onhand to assist with traffic and fluids in the roadway.
Southampton Volunteer Ambulance was also onhand, but it was not immediately clear if there were injuries reported, he said.
