Driver Charged With Speeding While Intoxicated: Police
The driver was arrested in Northampton Friday, police say.
NORTHAMPTON, NY — A Patchogue resident was charged with driving while intoxicated and speeding in Northampton Friday, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, on Friday at 7:07 P.M. Christie Defeo, 53, was seen speeding on Country Road 51 while intoxicated. Defeo was arrested and charged with misdemeanor DWI, processed at Southampton Town Police headquarters and held for morning arraignment, police said.
