Drunk Driver Charged In Southampton: Police
The driver was stopped for failing to signal, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Riverhead resident was caught driving drunk in Southampton on Thursday, police said.
According to New York State Police, Evando R. Bomtempo, 23, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop for failing to signal on Montauk Highway in Southampton.
Bomtempo was transported back to New York State Police barracks Riverside, and provided a breath sample indicating a .11 percent BAC; Bomtempo is due back in Southampton Justice Court on April 24, police said.
