Drunk Driver Involved In Crash: Police

He was also charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A man was caught driving drunk after a crash in Southampton, police said.

According to New York State Police, Jaime Cordova Perez, 20, was arrested on Sunday and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle following the crash on Peconic Avenue.

An investigation at the scene found Cordova Perez to be intoxicated; he was transported to New York State Police barracks Riverside where he provided a breath sample of .19% BAC, police said.

He is due back in Southampton Justice Court on Oct. 11, police said.
