Drunk Driver Nabbed After Disabled Vehicle Investigation: Cops
Her BAC was double the legal limit, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Riverhead woman was caught driving drunk after a disabled vehicle investigation in Southampton, police said.
Ruby Wesley, 66, was arrested on Saturday and charged with driving while intoxicated on Montauk Highway in the Canoe Place Road area, police said.
While being interviewed at the scene a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected and she was put through standardized field sobriety tests, police said. Her results indicated that she was intoxicated by alcohol, police said.

Wesley was placed under arrest and transported back to New York State Police Barracks Riverside where she provided a breath sample of .16% blood alcohol content, exactly twice the legal limit, police said.
She is due back in Southampton Justice Court on April 9.
