Drunk Driver Nabbed In Flanders: Police
He was arrested after a call about a disabled vehicle, police say.
FLANDERS, NY — A Riverhead man was cuffed after he was caught driving drunk in Flanders, police said.
According to New York State Police, on Dec. 22, 19-year old Juan E. Sanchez Landaverde was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a disabled vehicle complaint on New York State Route 24 in Flanders.
An investigation at scene found Landaverde to be intoxicated, police said.

Landaverde was transported back to New York State Police Barracks Riverside where he provided a breath sample of .19% BAC, police said.
Landaverde is due back in Southampton Justice Court on Jan. 8, police said.
