Errol Toulon to Speak at Southampton High Commencement
Toulon is a cancer survivor and the deputy county executive for public safety.

The Southampton High School graduation ceremony next Sunday is slated to include a speech by the assistant deputy Suffolk County executive for public safety, Erroll D. Toulon.
A Bronx native, who was a batboy for the New York Yankees in 1979 and 1980, Toulon retired from the New York City Department of Correction as a captain after 22 years at Rikers Island, according to a biography provided by the school district.
He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Monroe College, a master's in business administration from Dowling College, an advanced certificate in homeland security management from Long Island University, and a doctorate in educational administration from Dowling. He is an adjunct faculty member at Dowling, in addition to being a member of the Suffolk County Water Authority board.
Toulon is a cancer survivor, who was first diagnosed in 1996.
Commencement is June 23 at 2 p.m.
