The South Fork Crafts Guild presents an exclusive first-time art show featuring the work of local artists including John Todaro, an award winning fine art photographer from East Hampton who will be displaying work from a number of recent projects including abstractions of water reflections and tidal ripples-- Kristin Taliercio (Kristin's Art), a painter from Water Mill whose distinctive seascapes rendered on old wooden surfaces will be displayed along with her painted furniture -- Anne Sessler, creator of East End Fish Prints in Montauk, who will be showing her extraordinary fish rubbings, works which combine a contemporary aesthetic with an ancient Japanese artform-- David Posnett (Maidstone Jewelry) of East Hampton whose necklaces, rings, pendants and other work is made with local stones and shells--work which demonstrates his love of simplicity as well as his sensitivity to design and color-- The show will also feature the works of Deborah Anderson (Pressed Petals of Sag Harbor) who will be displaying intricate and delicate framed pressed flower creations--and Laura Pfanz the owner of Moonstones... a jewelry designer from Springs who also creates one-of-a kind holiday ornaments. The show will also have many other guest artists participating.
