BHHS Parlor Jazz: John Ludlow & Joanna Howard

The Bridgehampton Historical Society’s popular Parlor Music Series is beginning early this year.  Jazz is the theme with five popular Art of Song concerts comprising the line-up, starting Oct. 7, and continuing on the first Friday of each month through February. In the first concert, pianist Jane Hastay and bassist Peter Martin Weiss will be joined by Mecox saxophonist John Ludlow and Westhampton vocalist Joanna Howard. At age 8, she toured with the Broadway company of Les Miserables, playing the role of young Cosette. Joanna's theatrical and television credits include: Juliet, Romeo and Juliet, John Drew Theater; Jane, Jane Eyre, University of Michigan, and appearances on The View, The Young and Restless, As the World Turns and Guiding Light.  She is also a proud member of the USO Liberty Bells and regularly entertains active military and veterans, singing music from the 1940s and 50s. All concerts start at 7:00 pm and run approximately 75 minutes. Tickets are $25 per person, $10 for members, with children under 12 free.
