CC Chamber Music Series Presents Stony Brook Opera Trouble in Tahiti, Paradise New York

"Trouble in Tahiti, Paradise New York," is an opera in seven scenes with music and libretto by Leonard Bernstein. His daughter Jennifer Bernstein will make her directorial debut with the first opera written by her father, Leonard Bernstein. "Written while on his honeymoon in 1951, it is a candid portrait of the troubled marriage of a young suburban couple," the press release said.
