Honoring Rachel Carson: Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of "Silent Spring"

The museum will honor Rachel Carson, a biologist and writer, and celebrate the 50th Anniversary of her book Silent Spring, a fundamental book of the modern environmental movement.

Linda Lear, a renowned lecturer and author of the biography Rachel Carson: Witness for Nature, will give a presentation. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

The evening is co-sponsored by , , , and the South Fork Natural History Museum.
