LIVE FROM THE ROYAL OPERA HOUSE: VERDI'S "RIGOLETTO"

The love between a father and a daughter is pushed to the limit in Verdi’s dark tale of betrayal and vengeance. David McVicar’s immensely popular production, simulcast LIVE FROM THE ROYAL OPERA HOUSE, brings the 15th-century court of Mantua alive: its womanizing Duke, the court jester Rigoletto bent on revenge, and his daughter Gilda, whom the Duke loves but still destroys. Starring Dimitri Platanias, Ekaterina Siurina, and Vittorio Grigolo. 170 minutes including one intermission. Tickets $18 Parrish members, $22 nonmembers.
