Public Hearing on Whether to Increase Property Tax Exemptions for Cold War Veterans

The Town of Southampton holds a public hearing as the first step in potentially raising tax exemptions for Cold War veterans. Currently, qualifying vets can have $12,000 of their value exempted from taxes. If the proposed action passes, that number could increase to $54,000.
