Jim Ash, the vice president of the museum, will give a walk called, "Vineyard Field: A Vibrant, Grassland Ecosystem." The 39-acre field in the Greenbelt preserved by the Town of Southampton has been restored to maintain the health of this rare old-field ecosystem that is comprised of ponds, wetlands, wildflowers, and native grasslands.
Reservations are required. There is no charge for SoFo members, but non-members are $7 per adult, $5 per child 12 to 3 years of age, 2 and under are free.
