
A reading from his work by renowned conservationist Carl Safina at 7 p.m. will immediately follow an information session open to the public on Southampton Arts Summer (formerly known as the Southampton Writers Conference) at Stony Brook Southampton, two sessions of workshops, July 11-15 and 18-29, in all forms of writing, including screenwriting, playwriting and children's literature, along with fiction, non-fiction and poetry; theatre and filmmaking; and visual arts. The information session starts at 6:30 in the Radio Lounge of Chancellors Hall; all are invited and admission is free.
