Flanders Man Hits Victim In Face With Wood Doorjamb Framing: Cops
He hit him in the face with the wood, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton man was arrested after he hit another man in the face with a piece of wooden doorjamb framing, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Elmer E. Castaneda, 22, of Flanders, was arrested on Jan. 25 at 9:01 a.m. on Bluff Road after he hit the man on the right side of his cheek, causing a small laceration, redness and significant pain, which required medical attention.
He was charged with second degree assault, intent to cause physical injury with a weapon or instrument, a felony, police said.

Cash bail was set at $5,000, police said.
