GoFundMe: Southampton Resident Needs Your Help to Buy Her Son a Safety Bed
Local resident Lynne started a campaign to help buy a new bed for her 3-year-old son.

Southampton resident Lynne recently started a campaign on GoFundMe in order to raise money to help buy her son, James, a new safety bed.
According to the page, James was born at 25 weeks and during delivery he got a grade 4 head bleed which never resolved and resulted in hydrocephaluh, which is a build-up of fluid in the cavities deep within the brain and is life-threatening.
He also suffers from seizures, specifically, Lennox Gastault Syndrome, which is also life-threatening and has cerebral palsy, which means he does not walk or talk.

The family was denied by their insurance company for a special safety bed for him and is now trying to raise money to help purchase the bed themselves.
“He is now 3 years old and is rapidly out growing his crib and once the crib goes, I have no safe place for him to sleep in,” Lynne wrote on the GoFundMe page.

The goal is to raise $7,000 for the new bed. So far, since the page was created about a month ago, $1,975 has been raised.
