Three exhibitions at Southampton Center, the new arts and culture nonprofit at 25 Jobs Lane in Southampton Village, are coming to a close this weekend.
Admission is free to see David Michalek's "Slow Dancing," Bentley Meeker's "Spring 2012" and Diane Tuft's "The Arctic: Photographs from Greenland and Iceland 2001-2008."
"Slow Dancing" is a display of three dancers at a time on three projector screens, dancing in slow motion in a high level of visual clarity. It rotates through 43 video portraits.
"The Arctic" is a photograph exhibition of the changing environment.
"Spring 2012" uses colored lights and crumpled water bottles as a commentary on consumption.
Southampton Center is open this weekend Friday and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.
