Local Eatery, Lions Club Team Up To Help Guide Dog Foundation
Here's how you can help.

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — The Sag Harbor Lions Club is coming together to support the Guide Dog Foundation with a reception in Bridgehampton.
The event will be held at Almond, located at 1 Ocean Road, on Saturday, December 9 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will feature passed appetizers, wine, beer and cocktails; storytelling will be held at 4:30 p.m.
The cost of the event is $45 and proceeds will support the Guide Dog Foundation. Guests can also stay for a prix-fixe dinner following the event for an additional $35. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here or call Almond at 631-537-5665.

In 1946, when the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind was founded, its mission was to provide guide dogs and training free of charge to people who were blind or visually impaired. For 70 years, the Guide Dog Foundation has trained and placed guide and service dogs to provide increased independence, enhanced mobility, and companionship to people who are blind, have low vision or have other disabilities, a release said.
