SAG HARBOR, NY — The search is on for Farrah, a Great Dane mix that has been missing from Sag Harbor since Tuesday.

Farrah, her owner Walid Boggio said, is shy but friendly, about six months old, 70 lbs., 3' tall, and all black with a white spot on her chest. Farrah has no collar, no tags and no chip.

Farrah, he said, slipped out of the door when he was leaving the house, near Noyac Rd. and Deerfield Rd.. "She was following me out," he said.

"She loves food and she loves people," he said, adding that his pup is apt to think it's a game if someone tries to catch her; anyone who tries to approach her not chase her but instead, should offer food. "She will come to you," he said.

Boggio has just been in the area for abut six months; his whole family is in Florida. Farrah, he said, means everything to him; his other dog, Pilot, is a Lhasa Apso and misses her buddy badly.
