Man Caught With Controlled Substance After Domestic Dispute: Cops

He was found with what was believed to be cocaine, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton man was caught with what was believed to be cocaine in Southampton, police said.

According to New York State Police, Ammauri Eleazer, 19, was arrested on Oct. 17 and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after an investigation following a domestic dispute on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation.

Eleazer was found to be in possession of a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine, police said.

Eleazer was transported back to New York State Police Barracks Riverside and processed without incident; he is due back in Southampton Town Justice Court on Nov. 6, police said.
