Man Drove Drunk With 2 Prior DWI Convictions: Police

The driver was also caught speeding on Hill Street; his vehicle was seized, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton man is facing a felony charge after he drove drunk with two prior DWI convictions, police said.

According to Southampton Village Police, William M. Frink IV, 39, was arrested on Saturday at 1:26 a.m. on Hill Street and charged with felony DWI.

Frink was stopped while driving a 2012 Nissan Frontier west and exceeding the posted 25 miles per hour speed limit by 20 miles per hour, police said.

He was processed and held for morning arraignment, police said.

A computer check revealed that Frink's two previous DWI convictions were in 2013 and 2008; his vehicle was seized as per the Suffolk County Vehicle Seizure Law, police said.
