Man Drove While Ability Impaired By Drugs, Had Cocaine: Cops
He was stopped in the eastbound lanes on Sunrise Highway, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton man was arrested after he was found driving while impaired by drugs and in possession of cocaine, police said.
According to New York State Police, on Nov. 25 at 4:50 a.m., Nakai Bess, 33, was stopped in the eastbound lanes of traffic on Sunrise Highway near exit 65 in Hampton Bays.
Upon further investigation, Bess was found to be impaired by drugs and in possession of cocaine; he was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and held for arraignment in Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
