Man Fleeing Police Violated Probation: Cops
He was busted on Valentine's Day, police say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton man caught fleeing police was in violation of probation, police said.
According to Southampton Village Police, Scott M. Hornstein, 52, of Southampton, was arrested on Feb. 14 at 3:04 p.m. and charged with third degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.
At his arraignment, he was remanded to the Suffolk County Correctional Facility in Riverside because of a violation of probation, police said.
