Man Found Seriously Injured On Side Of Road, Info Needed: Police

He was found "distressed and in pain with no recollection of what happened," police say.

RIVERSIDE, NY — Police are asking for the public's help to detail what happened to a man who was found seriously injured on the side of the road in Riverside.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police said the 38-year-old man was found on the southbound shoulder of County Road 94 at 10 p.m. on Nov. 15, "distressed and in pain with no recollection of what happened."

The pedestrian, who was wearing dark clothing when he was found, was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, police said.
