Man With Heroin, Cocaine, Crack Leads Cops On Foot Chase: Police
He had Bryant approximately 10 grams of crack cocaine, 8 grams of powdered cocaine, and 5 bags of heroin, police say.

NORTHAMPTON, NY — A Riverhead man with heroin, crack and cocaine led police on a foot chase Monday, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, a call came in at 12:38 p.m. with a complaint of possible drug activity at Wildwood Lake Park, located behind the bowling alley on Lake Avenue in Northampton.
The caller provided detailed information about the activity and a description of the man to the Southampton Police Department's communications division, police said.

Southampton Town Police's community response unit officers were immediately dispatched to the area and located a man fitting the description, police said.
Willie E. Bryant, 36, was stopped by officers and interviewed; during the interview, he suddenly fled on foot, police said.

Officers pursued and caught Bryant; he was arrested on Lake Avenue at Old Westhampton Road, about a quarter mile from the initial stop, police said.
Once in custody, Bryant was found with approximately 10 grams of crack cocaine, 8 grams of powdered cocaine, and 5 bags of heroin, police said.
Bryant was taken to Southampton Town Police headquarters and charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, more than 1/2 ounce, third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, intent to sell, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, second degree obstructing governmental administration, and disorderly conduct, police said.
Bryant was held at Southampton Town Police headquarters for morning arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
