Man Shot On Shinnecock Reservation: Police
The man, 21, is not a member of the Shinnecock Nation, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A 21-year old man was shot on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation on July 4, New York State police said.
The incident took place at 11:30 p.m.; the man, who is not a member of the Shinnecock Nation, was shot in the leg and taken to a local hospital for what was believed to be a non-life threatening wound, police said.
State police are asking that anyone with information regarding the shooting call (631) 756-3300.
