Man Used Stolen Credit Card At Southampton Gas Station: Cops

He stole a wallet containing the credit card from a vehicle parked outside someone's home, police say. Have you seen him?

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — The search is on for a man who stole a credit card from a vehicle parked outside a Southampton home, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole a wallet containing a credit card from the vehicle, which was parked in front of a home in Shinnecock Hills sometime between the evening of June 20 and the morning of June 21, police said.

A man used the stolen credit card at Speedway, located on Old County Road in Southampton, on June 22, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
