Motorcycle Stolen From North Sea Driveway: Police

Police are offering a cash reward for information.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A thief swiped a motorcycle right out of the driveway of a North Sea home, police said.

According to Suffolk County Police, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police detectives are seeking information regarding a motorcycle stolen from a North Sea residence.

The Southampton Town Police Department detective's division is investigating the theft of a 2006 KTM 625, Model SMC, Induro Motorcycle, VIN #VBKEXN4076M700848), with an Akropovik exhaust system.

The motorcycle was stolen from the driveway on Bay Avenue in North Sea during the overnight hours between May 16 and May 21, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
