Person Stabbed During Flanders Assault: Police

FLANDERS, NY — A person was stabbed during an assault at a Flanders home Friday night, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, the incident took place at 10:14 p.m; at the Flanders residence, where a person was found with stab wounds.

The person located at the residence was transported by Flanders-Northampton Volunteer Ambulance Corps to an area hospital for treatment; the second person self-transported to the hospital, police said. Both were unable to be interviewed at the time due to their injuries, police said.

The Southampton Town Police Department's detective unit is continuing the investigation.
