Photos: 8th Annual Peconic Family Fun Day At Children's Museum Of the East End Delights

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — It was time to celebrate the 8th Annual Peconic Family Fun Day at Children's Museum of the East End in Bridgehampton Saturday morning.

Local environmental groups, including Peconic Land Trust, Friends of the Long Pond Green Belt, and South Fork Natural History Museum made learning about the East End's unique ecosystems fun.

Those attending enjoyed games, arts and crafts, seed planting and other activities with nature and science themes.

Music was provided by the unique sounds of Bridgehampton High School's Tewa Marimba Band.

In addition, Rebecca Young, R.N., of Southampton Hospital's Tick-Borne Disease Center shared her expertise in dealing with our local tick population.
